As the GC9A01 requires a lot of energy it can not be powered all the time. By switching to a monochromatic sharp memory display the screen can be kept on 24/7, refreshing it every minute. This way the battery last for at least three months. Goal is to charge the watch once a year. This is still work in progress and will require another redesign.

Switching form push buttons to capacitive touch buttons creates space on the PCB and makes it easier to create a water resistant enclosure.
Matching 3D printed cases with silicone straps creates great color variations.
The bezel with four touch points (up, down, back, enter) is a 0.8mm PCB.
The resin printed case looks great until you wear it outside and the case obatins a yellow tint.
